Another Day in Paradise

I have been a busy beaver the past couple of weeks. The highlight beeing the scrapbook retreat that I got to go to with my mom. It was so much fun and I can't wait to do another one. I managed to get 45 pages done, had a relaxing two days and had a ton of fun.
I have also been busy with Relay for Life. I am a committee member this year. I am in charge of the survivor's dinner and I am so excited to be able to do something special for the people who have fought the battle and won!
I am also busting my buns at school. Trying to keep caught up with everything else that is going on in life is proving to be a challenge but one that I love. I am really enjoying my course work this month and have decided to change my major over to religous studies.
Jeremy and I are becoming more involved in church. Alyssa is really enjoying Sunday school, as am I. I am trying to get Jeremy interested in a Sunday School class, I think it would do him some good.
Well I better run for now, Alyssa is throwing a fit and my family should be here any minute for lunch. Until next time... God Bless!

Oy where does the time go!

Okay so I am a little behind. Much has happened in the past month. My Lissie turned four! How can that be? It feels like just yesterday that we welcomed her into the world. Abby is already 8 months old! Being a mother is cruel, we slave to get these miraculous beings here, we nurture them, love them, cuddle them, and they go and grow up on us!
I have been plugging away at school. I am in Psychology this month, my third trip through this subject, maybe I'll get it right this time! Home Interiors is there, I haven't really been doing much with it. I NEED CUSTOMERS!!!!
The biggest thing going on in my life right now is Relay for Life. I have become a committee member and am in charge of the dinner for the survivors. It is such an honor for me to do something special for the people who have fought so hard for their lives. I am really looking forward to doing this special event. I WILL be hunting people down for donations and fundraising!
We got excellent news today!!! Dad's PSA level is back down to 1.6!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That means the radiation did what it was supposed to. Now he has to be monitored every 6 months. Thanks be to almighty God for the wonders he works in our lives!
I have been going to church most Sundays now and have even started going to Sunday School. We are reading this spectacular book called "Captivating". It is teaching us how to have the woman's heart that God gave us and tells us we deserve.
Well I have chattered enough tonight. I'll do better at keeping up!
