Wow!

Well it has been an interesting couple of weeks. I have been battling my depression again and I finally decided I have had enough. I went to the doctor yesterday and he talked me through some of my problems and then we decided to switch my medication. He told me I am having anxiety problems caused by the depression. The new medication should help this and even help boost my concentration. For the first time in months I feel hopefull again and am not so worried, and I haven't even taken the first pill yet!
My girls! What can I say about them. They have been so good! They are what has kept me going the past few months. Alyssa is getting to be so grown up. She helps out with Abby and helps around the house. Sometimes its hard to believe that she isn't even four yet. Abby is growing so fast. She has started creeping and is sitting up now. The other night she even tried to pull up on a laundry basket.
Jeremy is the other reason I have kept going. He is so supportive. He helps me over the low points. He helps out with the girls. He is my rock. I would be lost without him.
Well I better get going. I have lots to do today. Christmas is just three days away!

Where does the time go?

Well its been a while since I last blogged and figured I better get somethings down before I forget them. December is already here and Christmas is just around the corner. Where does the year go? Why is it when we are children with no earthly purpose but to have fun does time seem so go by so slowly but when we reach adulthood and have so much to do time just races by? Well the majority of my Christmas shopping is done I just have to get the house clean now. I don't know why we are even decorating because we are spending the holiday at mom and dad's this year. It would have been nice to spend our first Christmas in our new house actually in that new house but there are going to be too many family members to cram into our little apartment. This is what God wants, for us to be family over the holidays. Who knows when we will see Travis and his family again after they go to South Carolina. Well Abby is starting to stir and I better go fix her bottle. I have much to do today.

What a week!

It's been such a long and hectic week. It started last Wednesday and is just winding down in time to start another exciting crusade. I went up to mom and dad's last Wednesday to start getting ready for Thanksgiving. I spent some time visiting with Aaron. It was nice to just sit and talk with my brother. Then mom and dad and Jeremy all came home. We ate dinner and played with Alyssa and Abigail while we waited for Travis, Sabrina, and Sierra to show up. We got a call about 8 from Travis saying he was stuck in the snow. Jeremy and Aaron went to rescue them. When they finally got to the house at 9:30 we visited for a while and then went to bed. I spent all day Thursday in the kitchen but everyone agreed that dinner was delicious! Friday we did a bit of Christmas shopping. Saturday and Sunday we lazed around and watched the snow accumulate, 24" in all. Monday my car was stuck so we ended up staying an extra night. Tuesday we came home and I ran all over town getting things done for my business and the Christmas party I went to. I ended up sick to my stomach from the greasy lunch I ate and was miserable all evening. Note to self, no more greasy meals! Yesterday I woke up feeling icky and by afternoon figured out I caught Jeremy's cold. We went grocery shopping last night, I got cold meds, came home and took them and went to bed! I feel much better this morning. I got caught up on my classwork. Now I just have to clean my house and get ready for Jeanine to be here late tomorrow night. I have Christmas Craft Fair on Saturday and then can rest for a few days, I hope. Well I have rambled long enough for today. Off to shower and get dressed for the day!

Oh what a couple of days...

The past few days have been a whirlwind. Our open house was so unsuccessful I just wanted to cry. Hopefully the Christmas Craft Fair will be better and I can get some bookings. I would really like to be successful at this business so I can stay home with my girls and not feel guilty for Jeremy having to bring home all the funding. Anyway on to happier pastures. Aaron got here on Saturday. It has been so good to visit with him. The girls think he is just the coolest. Travis will be here tomorrow and I can't wait to have all my family together for Thanksgiving. We are going to be feasting at mom and dad's this year. I'll do most of the cooking so mom can just relax and have a great day with her grandkids and her boys. It will be a nice gift for her not to have to cook and I don't mind. Well off to clean the fridge so I have a place to put groceries later!

What an icky day!

So I have been trying to get my house all cleaned up and ready for this open house I am having this weekend. Every mess I cleaned up Alyssa created three more! Now I know she is just three and that is how she is entitled to act but it was driving me crazy!!! I think Abby is trying to cut teeth and so she wanted to be held all day. I accomplished about nothing and now have one day to get ready for this thing. I need to learn not to put so much on my plate. Can I just go to bed and pretend today never happened? On top of all that the weather has been rainy and yucky for three weeks now, I need some sunshine! Oh well I guess I better go make dinner, mmmmm spagetti. Then maybe I can convince Jeremy to watch the girls while I go take a nice long, hot bubble bath!

General Ramblings

Well I guess you want to know a little bit about me. If you didn't you wouldn't be here reading my blog. I am almost 29. I have been married for 6 years to my best friend Jeremy. We have two beautiful girls. Alyssa who is almost 4 and Abigail who is 5 months. I am a stay at home mom which I absolutely love. On the side I am an independant consultant with Home Interiors and I love doing that too! I also am going to school full time in order to attain my bachelor's degree in Business Administration. In my "spare" time I like to scrapbook and do photography. So that is me in a nutshell. This should be a great venue for me to go on in my ramblings. I really look forward to this. Maybe I'll actually journal more now.
